Solar Breathwork / Pranayama <all levels welcome>

This dynamic breathwork practice harnesses rhythm, flow, and vibration to open the body’s energetic gateways. Through guided cycles of active and resting breath, you awaken the life forceprana—that moves through every cell. Learn energizing breath to fight depression and calming breath to reduce anxiety.

Each class reinforces fundamental techniques and highlights one or more core techniques to learn and practice together. Some common techniques include: nadi shodana (alternate nostril breathing), ujjayi (victorious breath), and box breathing.

Level 1 Solar Practice (Standard Yoga Class)

  • Suitable for all levels, beginners most welcome!
  • Total Session: 30 minutes
  • Setting: small group yoga class (4-8 students max)
  • Body positioning: typically seated breathwork/meditation on a cushion, possibly with some gentle movement on a yoga mat

This class is a pre-requisite for Level 2 Breathwork or Soma Breathwork classes.
